Neurological Disorders

The three main neurological disorders are:

  1. Guillain-Barre Syndrome, which is a tingling in the feet, grows upwards, and can cause paralysis.

  2. Epilepsy (and Seizures), which is when the activity of the nerve cells in the brain are disrupted, leading to a seizure.

  3. Parkinson's Disease, which affects movement. Can cause stiffness or tremors.

Treatments:
  1. Blood tranfusions and physical therapy.

  2. Types of medications are sedatives and some nerve pain medication. Surgery is sometimes needed.

  3. Types of treatment to control the symptoms consist of anti-depressants, anti-tremors, and Dopamine promoters.
